Mobility Trust offer outdoor stairlifts, these are built for durability and to work whatever the weather and to last many years with minimum service required. They are very similar to indoor stairlifts with the main noticeable difference being that they have a powder coated or galvanized track.

An outdoor stairlift requires the use of electricity and therefore before it can be fitted an outdoor electrical plug will need to be fitted if it is not already available, this is quite simple and we can provide this at very little extra cost. The outdoor stairlift can be fitted to any type of material such as if your stairs are made out of wood, concrete, metal or stone. All outdoor stairlifts come with an easy to remove cover so that I can be kept clean whilst not in use.

Fitting the outdoor stairlift can usually be done in just one day even though they are a little trickier to fit than indoor stairlifts. Most of the stairlift manufacturers have at least one outdoor stairlift model that they sell.
